Description

It is a metal ferroalloy that is usually added to molten materials together with ferrosilicon (Fe-Si) during steelmaking. This ferroalloy is mainly composed of manganese (Mn) and iron (Fe) and usually contains very small proportions of minor elements such as carbon (C), phosphorus (P) and sulfur (S). This ferroalloy is an important additive used as a deoxidizer in steel production. It is a master alloy with a minimum Mn content of 65% and a maximum Mn content of 95%.
